Terms of Service

TrustSERP independently verifies SEO claims using read-only Google Search Console data. You are responsible for the accuracy of the claims you issue and the use of the share artifacts we generate. We may suspend accounts that submit fraudulent claims or otherwise abuse the service.

By creating an account or using TrustSERP, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under the law of your jurisdiction. If you are using TrustSERP on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.

You authenticate via Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and any activity that occurs through your TrustSERP account.

When you grant TrustSERP access to your Google Search Console data, you authorize us to read the metrics necessary to process verifications and claims you initiate. You can revoke access at any time via your Google account.

You submit claims about your traffic, rankings, or growth. We validate each claim against current Search Console data retrieved through your authorized OAuth connection. A verification is issued only when the data supports the claim within a defined tolerance (currently ±5% for volume metrics).

A verification reflects the data we retrieved at a specific point in time. We refresh verifications when a public page is viewed and the snapshot is older than 7 days; revalidations may result in a verification being marked stale or expired.

You may not submit claims that are deliberately misleading, fraudulent, or that reference traffic data you do not have a legitimate right to verify.

We generate URLs, OG images, downloadable PNGs, SVG badges, and other share artifacts based on the verifications and claims you create. You may use these artifacts on your own websites, in pitch decks, on social media, and in client communications.

You agree not to:

• Modify the visual contents of a TrustSERP share artifact in a way that misrepresents what was verified.
• Combine a TrustSERP badge with claims that were not independently verified by TrustSERP.
• Imply that a TrustSERP verification is an endorsement of your business, product, or services beyond the specific metric verified.

You agree not to use TrustSERP to:

• Verify properties or claims for which you do not have lawful authorization to access the underlying GSC account.
• Submit fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate claims.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise exfiltrate the service in bulk in a manner that interferes with normal operation.
• Use the service to harass, defame, or impersonate another person or entity.
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other technical controls.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice, in our reasonable discretion.

TrustSERP is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes that affect their existing verifications or claims.

Core verification, claim issuance, public claim pages, and embed badges are currently free. We may introduce paid tiers for additional features in the future. If we do, we will provide notice and we will not retroactively place any of your existing claims or verifications behind a paywall.

TrustSERP, the TrustSERP brand, and the design of the share artifacts and badges are our intellectual property. We grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display badges and share artifacts that reference your own verified claims, on the condition that you do not modify them in a way that misrepresents the verification.

The content of the claims themselves remains yours. You retain all rights to the underlying data you supply or that we retrieve from Search Console on your behalf.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Verification reflects data retrieved from Google Search Console at the time of validation. We do not warrant that Google's data is itself error-free or complete. We do not guarantee that a verified claim will remain accurate over time; metrics change.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUSTSERP AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) FIFTY US DOLLARS, OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrustSERP and its operators from claims, losses, or damages arising out of claims you submit, content you publish, or your violation of these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time by emailing hello@trustserp.io. On deletion, we permanently delete your account, GSC tokens, verifications, and claims within 7 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your account poses a security risk, or if continued service becomes legally or commercially impracticable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will email registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
